Penn State Blue-White Weekend Date Set

UNIVERSITY PARK, CENTRE COUNTY - Penn State University has announced their Blue-White weekend will start Friday April 19, 2013 with events through the entire weekend, including a NCAA Championship taking place on the University Park Campus.

The kickoff for the Blue-White football game is set for 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 20th. Stadium parking lots will open at 8 a.m. on game day.

The 2013 NCAA Men's Gymnastics Championships will be taking place in Rec Hall April 19-21. In addition, Penn State's baseball, field hockey, men's golf, softball, men's tennis, women's tennis, and men's volleyball team will all be playing at home during the weekend.

According to the press release, many fan favorites will be returning, including Friday's Wingfest and fireworks, and Sunday's Beaver Stadium 5K/Family Fun Walk to benefit Special Olympics Pennsylvania.

More information regarding the weekend is scheduled to be released in the coming weeks.
