"It's just great to see these people from other state coming it and it's good to see the people" said Rick Hetrick.
Hetrick adds for the first year, the Salvation Army has decided to bring out their red kettle to gather donations while so many people are in town.
"It's been really great. It's been a good response" he said.
With the spectators here, the local shops are seeing an increase in customers.
"Very busy, a lot of different people from all over the area and it's really been nice" said Judy Hendrix from Two Scoops.
She adds the influx is something they prepare for and enjoy.
