Man Sentenced for Firing at Police

CLEARFIELD, CLEARFIELD COUNTY - A man who opened fire on police in November 2012 will spend the next 2 to 5 years in state prison.

Peter Cain, Jr. was arrested last November after threatening to shoot anyone who stepped onto his property.

According to police documents Cain fired four shots in the direction of officers and hit a neighbor's home.

Cain entered a guilty plea, and said he suffers from depression.
