Stephen Obeng-Agaypong, Brent Smith, John Urschel, DaQuan Jones and Malcom Willis are all Penn State football players who showed up at the Van Zant VA Hospital in Altoona Thursday to say thank-you to veterans

They were part of the annual VA National Salute program that began in 1978. It's observed annually during the week of Valentine's Day.
The players got a chance to go room to room and meet area vets.
Defensive end Brent Smith spent 8 years in the Marine Corps and was thrilled to give back to his fellow veterans.
