Love Songs Coming to the Mount!

Mount Aloysius College's Vox Nova Vocal Valentine's Explores Love Songs

CRESSON, CAMBRIA COUNTY - -The Mount Aloysius College Vox Nova Chorale will present a concert of love songs on Valentine's Day, Thursday, February 14, 7:00 pm in Our Lady of Mercy Chapel.

This acoustically superb venue is located on the second floor of the College's Main Building.
"Vocal Valentines" presents love song, explored as a musical subject, in various forms and styles from the 1500s to the present day.

Works include "Somewhere" (Broadway), "Caro mio ben" (Italian 1700s), "And So It Goes" (Billy Joel), "Annie Laurie" (folksong), and "Teenager In Love" (American Pop 1950s).

The general public is invited to attend. There is a $5 charge for admission.
