Updated Midday February 11th
Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller

We have southwesterly winds bringing in warmer temperatures with some spots getting close to 50 with some sun.  There could be a stray light shower this afternoon or this evening.

Tonight will become windy as a frontal system starts to move through.  Lows will drop into the mid to upper 20s in the ridges along Route 219.  It will drop into the low to mid 30s farther to the southeast.  There could also be a few snow showers around (especially northwest).  A Wind Advisory is in effect for much of the region for tonight into early tomorrow.  Winds could gust as high as 40 -50 mph.  Tomorrow temperatures will start to fall.  Early highs will be in the mid to upper 30s.  We'll have a mix of clouds and sun at times.  Sustained winds will still be 15-25 mph.

Wednesday may start with some sun, then clouds may increase later in the day as a disturbance passes to our south late and overnight.  There is a chance that if that disturbance moves slightly northward, we could see some snow or perhaps a mix.  At this point, it appears likely that the bulk of the system will stay to our south, but it is a situation we will monitor.  Highs will be in the mid to upper 30s.

The rest of the week looks rather uneventful with nothing more than a few scattered light flurries or ridgetop snow showers.  There is a chance for snow with a coastal storm we will also monitor for Saturday.  But at this point there are still a lot of uncertainties with that system.
