Police say the man approached the clerk at the front desk and told him a vending machine in the hotel was damaged.

After the clerk left, the suspect went behind the desk and removed money.

The man is also wanted for a burglary at Dunn Mowrey Insurance and Benchmark Construction on South Atherton Street.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing black boots, jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt under a gray jacket and a light colored baseball hat.
