Updated Tuesday Midday, January 22nd
Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller

It is going to be a bitter cold afternoon & overnight. A windchill advisory remains in effect for Cambria, Clearfield,  Somerset, Jefferson, Elk and Indiana counties until 7 p.m.  In those locations windchills will be in the 10-15 degree below zero range.  Those same locations will see a few snow showers around as well.  To the east we will have some flurries and perhaps only a stray snow shower.

Tonight will be bitter cold.  Lows will be in the single digits for most.  In fact some lows in the Laurel Highlands could fall below zero.

Tomorrow we will have variably cloudy skies.  It will be cold, however the winds will diminish slightly.  Highs will be average in the mid teens.  There could still be a couple snow showers to the north during the day, and then perhaps some scattered snow showers to the south during the evening.

Thursday may start with a few leftover flurries, otherwise expect partly sunny skies and highs in the upper teens to low 20s.

Early sun on Friday will fade and it will become cloudy with snow developing for the afternoon.  Depending on the stormtrack, we could have some heavier periods of snow into Friday night before the system pulls eastward and out of the region on Saturday.  Highs on Friday will be in the low to mid 20s.

Behind the storm, Sunday looks to be mostly sunny with highs finally making it into the 30s.
