North American Hoganas Plant Up in Flames

MOXHAM, CAMBRIA COUNTY - Fire crews in Johnstown responded to a fire at the North American Hoganas plant in Moxham early Monday evening.

The fire started around 6:15.  20 Employees were evacuated from the metal plant. 

Officials at the plant say 4 employees were working in the metal melting facility of the plant when a quantity of molten metal leaked out, employees managed cut the power of the facility to prevent further damage. 

The cost of the damage is unknown at the this time.
