State Police Investigate Nearly 400 Crashes on New Year's Eve

HARRISBURG - State Police released their New Year's holiday crash report on Thursday.
 
In the 377 crashes investigated by Troopers from Dec. 31 through Jan. 1, one person was killed and 86 were injured.

55 incidents were alcohol-related and 184 people were arrested on DUI charges.

During last year's four-day New Year's driving period, 10 people were killed and 172 were injured.

These crash numbers cover only those incidents investigated by the State Police and do not include statistics from other law enforcement agencies.
