"They're horrible. Absolutely horrible. The whole way down here," Traveler Dennis Harvey says.

Dennis Harvey is on his way to New Hampshire for work, but he is far from the only one struggling to navigate the Pennsylvania turnpike during this wicked weather.

"Day after Christmas, travel day, there's alot of us out here," Chuck Arnold says.

With snow covering the highways throughout the region, Interstates 80 and 99 cut speed limits down to 45 MPH, and the Turnpike became a test of patience.

"Breezewood was the worst area. It took us just over an hour to get off and back on to the Pennsylvania Turnpike," Traveler Patty Lapinski says.

And that has made a mess of most peoples travel schedules.

"If its not much better we may need to get a place for the night. It's normally a 6 and a half hour trip from Crofton to the West Side of Cleveland," Lapinski says.

"If it gets bad they got rooms in Breezewood. They've got rooms wherever I'm heading...it isn't worth it," Arnold says.
