UPJ Student Shot

RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- Richland Township Police are searching for two gunmen who robbed a 22-year old and then shot him.

Police said David Consiglio was shot inside of his Bloomfield Apartment in Richland Township around 9:30 Sunday night.  The victim's roommates took him to the hospital.

"Both suspects brandished hand guns - opened fire on the victim," said Michael Burgan, Richland Township Police Chief.  "A roommate tried giving assistance and had a weapon pointed at him also." 

Police are looking through surveillance video to help identify the suspects but at this point they're described only as two black men in their 20's.

"Anyone with information is asked to give us a call," said Burgan.

Students who live in the area said it's alarming to know the suspects are still at large.

'It is uneasy," said Shawn Keela Hawkins. 

Consiglio, is a Blair County native is listed in fair condition at Memorial Medical.
