There will be some clouds around into the early morning hours on Thursday. Then there will be a fair amount of sunshine for a while before some more high clouds stream in later in the day. You should enjoy that sunshine while it lasts as the pattern will become quite unsettled through the upcoming weekend. The first in a string of disturbance will press into the region on Friday bringing us a period of chilly rainfall. In fact it will be cold enough that the precipitation could start as a touch of freezing rain on a few ridges. Saturday and Sunday will remain rather cloudy. A couple more periods of rain are likely over the weekend, but it won't rain all of the time. Temperatures will rise into the middle 40s each day but then milder air will win out ahead of the next front on Monday. It will be breezy Monday with showers and perhaps a thunderstorm later in the day or at night. Behind that next front a sharper shot of colder air is likely for the middle of next week.
