MARRERO, LOUISIANA -- Jonathan Beal, the Meyersdale man accused of killing his girlfriend, will not fight extradition from Louisiana.

Beal was arrested in Marrero, Louisiana, a New Orleans suburb, Wednesday morning by U.S. Marshals in connection to the death of 19 year-old of Justine Jackson. Jackson's body was discovered along a hiking trail November 11 in Larimer Township, Somerset County.

Beal signed papers to waive extradition Thursday and Pennsylvania State Police are attempting to have Beal transferred to Somerset in the coming days to face Criminal Homicide and related charges.
