STATE COLLEGE, CENTRE COUNTY - More than a hundred students graduated from the South Hills School of Business and Technology Wednesday night. The ceremony at the Penn Stater in State College was for all four South Hills locations.

Jay Paterno was the keynote speaker. He talked about overcoming adversity and being defined by how you react to the difficult moments in life

Ellen Spinelli in Career Services thinks the job out look is good for these graduation seniors. They just finished their internships and many already have jobs, 30 to 35% of South Hills students get a job right out of their internship.

Public Relations Joan Andrews says that's because they work with companies to give students the right skills instead of a generic education.

Comments

Yeah Right. When they talked my two oldest into going there they promised 99% of their graduates were placed in jobs upon graduation, that employers were literally lining up to hire their grads. 4 years later one is still working as a cashier at a department store and the other does odd jobs thru a temp agency as she can't find permanent work.
