Three Women Called as Character Witnesses in Sandusky Trial

Some are personal friends, others are former Second Mile kids.
The first woman to testify said Sandusky was a "very respected man in the community." The fourth person called to the stand said that Jerry and Dottie Sandusky were "very kind and wonderful people."
The third person to testify is an Army veteran. She said that she started the Second Mile when she was in elementary school. While growing up, she said that she knew Accuser #4 and that the accuser "made up stories" and usually "embellished stories." The witness said that her deceased brother was also friends with the accuser.
