Search Warrant Executed In Hastings

HASTINGS, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- Multiple State Police units are on scene of an old mining site in Cambria County, executing a search warrant.

The State Police Bomb Detection, SERT Unit, Auto Theft, VICE Unit and PSP Intel are on scene of a 47 acre property in Hastings.

Trooper's said the location is at the Old Rich Hill Mine site off of Murphy Spring Road.  Police confirmed that specific intelligence led them to this location.  Police have confirmed that the recent thefts of a bulldozer in Cambria County, a front end loader stolen from Jefferson County as well as stolen cars in the area are connected to this investigation.

As of noon Tuesday, no arrests have been made.  Stay with WTAJ News for the latest starting at five.
