Benefit Baseball Game to Honor the Memory of Kristen Aungst

ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY -- Community members are coming together to organize a benefit baseball game to honor the memory of a Claysburg Kimmel High School student who passed away in May.
Kristen Aungst was a senior at Claysburg Kimmel High School. She died in a single car crash on May 18th, 2010.
While in high school, Kristen was very active in with the Claysburg Kimmel Varsity Cheerleaders and was a member of the Wrestling Boosters.
On Tuesday, July 20th, Altoona Greater City League Baseball Teams Ketrow Insurance and Johnston Realty will be playing a benefit game at the Blair County Ballpark. Doors open at 5pm and the game begins at 5:30pm.
Admission is free, but donations will be accepted to benefit the Claysburg Kimmel Varsity Cheerleaders and the Wrestling Boosters.

Claysburg Kimmel High School Principal Mark Mitchell says, "Small communities come together in times of loss. This benefit will help us in the healing process."
