Firefighters Fight Fire and Heat

EVERETT, BEDFORD COUNTY- 6 crews responded an apartment fire in Everett Sunday morning. Firefighters say they needed the extra help so crews could rotate while fighting the fire Sunday morning.
Crews sat down during rotations, took off some gear, and had plenty of water bottles to stay cool. "The biggest danger with this apartment of course this fire is that it spread from one apartment to the other. The exposures being just a street distance between the heat and so forth, the exposures there, were our main concern," Everett Fire Company Fire Chief, Chuck Stone said.
