Gun Law Doesn't Pass

HARRISBURG, PENNSYLVANIA  -- Lawmakers didn't pass a bill that would give more rights to gun owners, but they stay they'll try again.

York County Representative Scott Perry sponsored the "Stand Your Ground" bill.  It was the sixth year in a row that the bill failed to pass, but Perry says he will try to push the measure through again this fall.

The proposal is an extension of the castle doctrine.  It allows a person to use lethal force without retreating.
