EBENSBURG, CAMBRIA COUNTY---- Residents in the Ebensburg area could see lower sewer rates.  Borough Council voted Monday night to recommend an 18% rate deduction on residents’ sewer bills.  The borough made that decision because they will pay off a loan payment from 1993 that was used to upgrade the sewer system.

That loan cost the borough $300,000 a year and is expected to be paid off in July.

The water authority is scheduled to vote on the rate deduction July 19th.
