BOALSBURG, CENTRE COUNTY -- State College Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Centre County Unimart.

The robbery happened just before midnight Saturday night at the Unimart on Boal Avenue in Boalsburg.  A single white man, armed with a black semi-automatic pistol, approached the clerk and demanded money.  The clerk handed over the money and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.  The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot to the rear of the Unimart.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5'5"-5'6" tall, thin build, wearing an "old man" Halloween mask, navy blue hooded sweatshirt with a zipper, blue jeans, a dark snap brim hat and gloves.  The suspect also had something stuffed inside his sweatshirt to make him look heavier.

The Patton Twp. Police and their K-9 assisted at the scene.
