School District Mourns Loss of Teacher

STATE COLLEGE, CENTRE COUNTY- Faculty and students are mourning the loss of a State College teacher. 33 year-old Andrew Keim known as Andy, died while playing a baseball game Wednesday night. Keim just finished his third year teaching history at State College High School. He was playing baseball at Babe Ruth Field when he went into cardiac arrest. Justine Kononov, teacher and close friend to Keim said, "it wasn't just about teaching history for him, social studies you know, it was you know about life lessons too. The viewings for Andrew Keim will be at the Koch Funeral Home in State College from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesdsay. Also, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
