Toomey and Sestak in Dead Heat

Republican Pat Toomey and Democrat Joe Sestak are in a dead heat at the starting line in Pennsylvania's Senate race.

The latest Public Policy Poll puts the pair at 41-percent each.

Both men will have to vye for the support of eight-percent of voters, who remain undecided.

Sestak enjoyed broader support among women voters while Toomey had the edge with men.

Both candidates are competing to take the Senate seat, currently held by ousted U.S. Senator Arlen Specter.
