Two People Got Stuck in Dumb Waiter

PHILIPSBURG, CENTRE COUNTY - Two people got stuck in a dumb waiter in Philipsburg over the weekend and had to be rescued.

On Sunday at 3:00 a.m., a 37 year-old man from Georgia and a 27 year-old woman from Punxsutawney got trapped in the dumb waiter at the Philips Hotel.

A dumb waiter is a mini-elevator used to transport food between floors.

Fire crews rescued the two people.  They now face disorderly conduct charges.
