Celebrating Flag Day

BOALSBURG, CENTRE COUNTY- June 14th is flag day. It is a day Americans celebrate and show respect for old glory.

 In Boalsburg, many honored the flag, including girl scouts and eagle scouts at a special ceremony.

 Rick Marboe, Scout Master Troop 31 said, "We want them to learn to respect the flag, and also to really appreciate the sacrifices that have been made for our country over time."

The annual ceremony ends with a proper burning of the flag.
