ADAMS TOWNSHIP, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- Investigators have increased a reward for information leading to an arrest in the recent wind turbine attacks.

The attacks and vandalism originally began back in March.  Then on May 10th, someone fired shots with a high-powered rifle at workers on a windmill in Adams Township.

Investigators formed a task force involving Adams Township Police, the FBI and State Police.

Adams Township Police Chief Kirk Moss said the reward has increased $3,000 taking it from $2,000 to $5,000.  He hopes the increased reward will encourage those with information on the attacks to come forward.

“This is not a joke, for these workers to be 300 feet up in the air and to have someone fire on you?  It is not an accident and we're not going to tolerate that kind of behavior here in Cambria County,” said Moss.

Anyone with information contact Crime Stoppers of Cambria County: (800) 548-7500
