Environmental Manager Stephen G. Toki Jr., said since November they’ve seen deer, coyotes, birds and even fishers at the Johnstown Airport.
He said although the critters are not a serious problem, they are taking preventative measures.
"It comes down to safety, that’s the bottom line. The airport wants to be the safest and they’re taking those measures to make sure it happens," said Toki.
The year long study will wrap up in November.
