Drier, Warmer Memorial Day Weekend Ahead

A slow-moving front will move westward across Pennsylvania this afternoon, which will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms to the area. Just a few showers will be left for tonight under a partly to mostly cloudy sky. Tomorrow will start with quite a few clouds and perhaps even a sprinkle or a shower, but clouds will give way to sunshine for the afternoon. It will be less humid and cooler than the last few days, with highs in the 70s.
Sunday looks to be the best day out of the three days with plenty of sunshine. It will be warmer and a bit more humid with highs getting into the lower and middle 80s. Highs will reach the 80s again on Memorial Day with sunshine early. That sun will start to fade behind thickening clouds during the afternoon. An approaching front could touch off a shower or thunderstorm late in the afternoon, but much of the day will be dry and there will be places that do not see any rain during the day.
So, if you are going to be outside this weekend, don't forget the sunscreen as we will be treated to plenty of sunshine and the sun is very strong this time of year.
