1,738 Tickets Issued Over 3 Days

CLEARFIELD - A regional targeted enforcement was executed May 4 – 6, 2010 along designated routes with a “2” through a joint partnership with the Pennsylvania State Police, local police agencies, and PennDOT.

 

Targeted enforcement included speeding, seat belts, DUI and motor carrier inspections. State and local law enforcement officers were located on routes throughout a thirty county area stretching from the West Virginia border east to Juniata County and north to Erie County. The enforcement included troopers from seven state police troops (Troop A, B, C, D, E, F, & G) and officers from more than 45 municipal police agencies.

 

The available results for the three-day enforcement totaled:

  • 1,738 Total Traffic Citations
  • 946 Speeding Citations
  • 475 written warnings
  • 93 Seat Belt Violations
  • 5 DUI Arrests
