ELDRED TOWNSHIP, CAMBRIA COUNTY - State and local police surrounded a Cambria County home during a stand-off Saturday.  It ended peacefully just before 9:30 pm.  It happened in Elder Township near Saint Boniface.  Police dressed in swat gear with rifles were seen going to the home.  Dozens of police cruisers, fire trucks and ambulances responded.  Route 36, which is main street there was closed at 4:30 pm.  State police say they were called for a report of a man with a gun.  When they got there they said 56 year old Thomas Dillion wouldn't come out of his house and was threatening police.  The State Police Special Emergency Response Team came in and negotiated with Dillion.  They said he surrendered and was taken into custody.  The road has reopened.
