Accused Baby Beater Heads to Trial

INDIANA, INDIANA COUNTY - The trial for Joshua Turner began Monday morning in Indiana County.

Turner stands accused of biting, shaking and beating his girlfriend’s 19-month old son at her apartment in 2008 in Blacklick Township. 


The baby was taken to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh where he later died.

Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
