Clean Up Expected to Begin At A Demolished Home

PORTAGE TOWNSHIP, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- On Monday clean up crews will start hauling away whatever is left at Portage home.

Township Supervisors have allowed the Parks family, who owns property, until Monday to take the remainder of their belongings out.

Township supervisors recently demolished the home after a 4- year battle with the family over what they called “an environmental threat.”

The Parks family is planning a lawsuit, claiming they had a court order that should have stopped demolition.
