First Day of Trout Season

EBENSBURG, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- Hundreds of fishermen braved the chilly weather to catch a bite on the first day of trout season Saturday.

Jim Lamer of Johnstown takes his two sons out every year.

�We�ve been coming out since my oldest was 5, he�s 13 now,� said Lamer.

Lamer�s youngest son Lucas was having a great time, despite the bitter wind and snow flurries.

�The fish are biting kind of slow, but we may have a chance,� said Lucas Lamer.

The Lamer boys caught 3-trout fish on opening day at Lake Rowena in Ebensburg.
