PUNXSUTAWNEY, JEFFERSON COUNTY - State Police have charged three Punxsutawney Middle School students with intent to commit aggravated assault.

Police charged the three Monday after finding evidence that they were preparing to commit a "public disturbance".

Police won't clarify what that means. A parent called WTAJ saying she thinks it's a cover-up and wants more information. When we called the school superintendent Thursday night, he said he couldn't comment further.

They need to answer questions about this because there are too many rumors going around and it's scaring some of the children.
I have 2 children in the school and now I'm worried about them due to the school and police withholding information.
