PORTAGE TOWNSHIP, CAMBRIA COUNTY - A dilapidated house in Portage Township was razed.  The family that owned it is outraged.  Don Parks said he was still appealing the court order to have it torn down.  But the Portage Township solicitor maintains that since there was no stop work order, the demolition could continue.  The battle over the home started 4 years ago.  The township said human and dog waste made the home unsafe for people to live there.  Attorney C.J. Webb on behalf of Portage Township, said the Parks had plenty of time to remove their property before it was torn down.  Don Parks said the family wasn't allowed in to get their things.  He said he is planning to file lawsuits against the township and demolition company.
