ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - A local company helped out the American Red Cross Wednesday.

The New Pig Corporation had a surplus of highly absorbant wipes. So they donated them to the Red Cross. The Red Cross will distribute them as part of a clean up kit to flood victims.
As Red Cross Executive Director Jane Gable explains, "Typically what we give them is a clean-up kit. It has a mop, bleach, cleaning items. These absorbant clothes will be an enhancement to the cleanup kit."

The Red Cross provides those flood kits throughout our region.
