ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY  - Police arrested an Altoona man after they say he punched an emergency worker in the face.

Roy Harpster III, 42, was arrested and put in jail on Wednesday morning.

Police say he was seen laying behind a business on the 2500 block of Union Ave.  Someone had called the police and reported that Harpster was assaulted.

When officers arrived on scene they found out that Harpster was not assaulted.  He was drunk and had fallen and hit his face.

When AMED workers tried to treat him, Harpster allegedly punched one of them in the face.

He was arrested and thrown in the Blair County Jail.
