Police Catch Suspected Burglar

ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - Police accuse a Salvation Army resident of trying to break into 3 homes overnight Saturday.  Kevin O'Connell, whose address is listed as the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center on 7th Avenue in Altoona, was arrested near the back door at a home on 25th Avenue.  Police said O'Connell tried getting into 2 houses in the Fairview section of the city and was scared off by the residents.  When police heard him trying to break through a door in the Wehnwood area, they arrested him.  O'Connell is charged with attempted burglary and related offenses.
