SNYDER TOWNSHIP, BLAIR COUNTY - The deaths of two people found in a Tyrone area home are still under investigation.

A neighbor found Mona Kay and Richard Lee Hartman in their Snyder Township home Sunday morning.

The Blair County Coroner performed an autopsy, but is still waiting for more test results to determine the cause.

Comments

Coroners do not perform autopsies. They contract pathologists from local hospitals to conduct the autopsy. Many of the autopsies in this region (Centre, Clinton, Clearfield, Mifflin, Huntingdon, and some of Blair cases) are done by pathologists in Huntingdon or State College.
