Flurries continued moving through the region today with a brisk northwesterly flow. Temperatures did not get out of the 20s in places west of I-99 while to the east temperatures made it into the low 30s.
The flurries will taper off Monday, but communities could see a dusting in the morning. A small area of high pressure will move over the region Monday, bringing sunshine to many communities south of I-80. Temperatures will be upper 20s and low to mid 30s for Monday. It will become breezy Monday afternoon with the strongest gusts along ridgetops.
Tuesday has been a day many have been talking about. The forecast models still have the system staying to the south, but there is a chance of snow showers in the southern part of the viewing area Tuesday evening and Wednesday.
Any leftover snow showers will be on their way out by Thursday as warmer air starts moving in for the weekend.
