Today marks the 60th anniversary of WTAJ. Watch this story for a look back!

On today's show, Central PA Live begins a year of memories. We kick things off with some video of years gone by and a profile of former News Anchor/Reporter David Venable, who is now one of the most popular hosts on the shopping network, QVC.  Venable hosts his own show, "In the Kitchen with David" and just released his new cookbook full of fabulous comfort food recipes. David says some of those recipes were inspired by people in Altoona.

Current News Anchor John Clay also shares one of his most memorable stories, the Sandusky Scandal.  John has been working at WTAJ since 1998.

Stay tuned to Central PA Live and WTAJ News for more memories over the past 60 years in the months to come.
