Updated Midday Friday, February 22nd
Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller

Today we will have thickening clouds and mixed showers will develop.  Initially this may start as some snow and sleet before mixing with some patches of rain or freezing rain later in the day.  Any accumulations will be on the light side.  High temperatures will hover around freezing.  The bulk of the system passes to our south.

Temps will hold steady tonight.  Lows will only drop by a degree or two in most places.  There could be a few rain showers or freezing rain showers or drizzle in patches tonight.

Tomorrow that system will intensify off the coast.  We could see some rain or freezing rain showers  early (mainly in south and eastern zones).  We'll have a good deal of clouds around early as well.

Sunday Clouds may break for peeks of sun.  There could be a few flurries to the north.  Highs will make it into the low 40s.  High pressure moves in on Monday to give us partly sunny skies.  It will be warmer with highs in the mid 40s.

By later on Tuesday or Wednesday it looks as though another mixed storm may move into the region ending as some snow and ushering in colder temperatures for later next week.
