Birds Nest Saved

LAKE SOMERSET, SOMERSET COUNTY - An osprey nest in Somerset County in danger of being turned into dinner has been saved.

Take a look at this picture courtesy of the Daily American - the nest located near Lake Somerset was in jeopardy as the pole it was sitting on had started to lean.

Crews from the Game Commission, Fish and Boat Commission and the Somerset Rural Electronic Cooperative took advantage of suitable weather conditions and managed to straighten the pole on Thursday.
