Three Families Lose Everything

He and his neighbors apartments were destroyed by a fire in Clearfield Saturday Night.
"My kids cried mom are we going to be okay, are we going to be okay" said Christine Poore.
She tried to think of answer to her children's question, but she was wondering the same thing.
"Things that we've had for years and collected for years; how are we gonna start all of that from scratch" she said.
The community has stepped in. Donations are being accepted and a benefit has been planned. The Clearfield Volunteer Fire Department shared this information on their Facebook Page:
In conjunction with the March 2 benefit dinner that begins at 5:00 in Expo 2 at the fairgrounds for the victims of the 3rd Street fire, the Clearfield Volunteer Fire Department will be serving as a drop-off location for people who wish to donate items to the families. The following items are needed:
Men's Clothing: Pants (32x32, 32x34, 34x34 and 36x32), Shirts (Large or XL), and shoes (10.5)
**Also in need of fire retardant clothing**
Women's... Clothing: Pants (1 and 11/12), Shirts (Small and Medium), Shoes (7.5 or 8)
Girl's Clothing: Pants (Junior's 0-1), Shirts (Junior's X-Small or Small)
Boy's Clothing: Pants (5T and 8), Shirts (Small and Medium), Shoes (2, 9.5 or 10)
Baby Clothing: Diapers (Size 5)
Miscellaneous Household Items: Crib, Mattresses, Lamps, Dishes, Etc.
Members will be at the station during the evening hours to accept donations. Aaron's (Located in the Big Lots Plaza) and Liberty Tax Service Clearfield (Beside the former Gardner's Candies) are also serving as drop-off locations.
The families all say thank you for the generosity. They did not expect it and it is appreciated.
