CRESSON, BLAIR COUNTY - The snow has been to blame for many accidents all over central Pennsylvania today.

One of them was involved a Penn Dot snow plow and a pickup truck.  The accident happened on westbound U.S. 22 in Cresson.  Blair County Penn Dot Assistant Manager David Kammer says that while the snow plow was removing snow, the truck struck the wing plow.

"It is rare for a snow plow to be in an accident," says Kammer.  "As much as we are out here, our drivers are very professional in what they're doing.  And most of the time the public sees the flashing lights and avoids them, but in this case, unfortunately, one caught us."

Penn Dot says to please be alert and cautious around snow plows and to always travel at a safe speed on the highway.
