Today a quick moving system will overspread snow across the region. General amounts for much of the region will be in the 2-4 inch range through tonight. Highest amounts will be in the Laurel Highlands where 3-6 inches could accumulate. Also the higher ridges in Blair and Bedford counties could also see 3-6 inches total accumulation.
Tomorrow we will have clouds and breaks of PM sun. There will still be a couple of flurries or snow showers around in the north and western ridges. Highs will be in the low to mid 20s.
An area of high pressure will move in for Sunday to give us sunshine and just a few clouds with highs in the upper 20s. Monday the warming trend continues, but we could see a light mix developing. Highs will be in the mid to upper 30s.
Tuesday will be in the upper 30s with some rain showers possible. A strong front will start to advance either Tuesday night or Wednesday to give us a steadier period of rain. Wednesday makes it into the mid 40s.
