Updated: Wednesday night, January 16th
Reported by: Meteorologist Steve Newton

There will be flurries and snow showers Thursday, mainly North of I-80, but communities in the Laurel Highlands and along I-99 and I-70 could see a stray shower.

Another disturbance will brush past us to the south Thursday night into Friday, but the chance of precipitation from that disturbance is low right now.

Clouds will break some Friday and Saturday as high pressure starts to take hold. There will be a mix of sun and clouds both days, with high temperatures Friday near 30 and in the mid to upper 30s for Saturday.

The high pressure will be displaced by a stronger front that will move in Sunday, starting a period of colder temperatures and periods of snow that will last into the middle of next week and possibly beyond.
