Updated Wednesday Morning January 9th
Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller

Today a moisture starved front moves across the region.  Though a stray shower cannot be ruled out, most locations will see a dry frontal passage with nothing more than a period of passing clouds.  It will be mild with a southwesterly windflow ahead of the front.  Highs will be in the mid to upper 40s.  Behind the front, it will become breezy.  Sustained winds will be in the 15 mph range with gusts to 25 mph.

Tonight will be partly cloudy & breezy.  There could be a couple of flurries in the northwest ridges.  Lows will be in the mid to upper 20s.

Tomorrow another area of high pressure centers itself over the region.  We'll have partly to mostly sunny skies with highs in the low 40s.

Thursday night a warm front starts to move toward us.  We may have a shower or two during the night, then Scattered showers will be around on Friday under variably cloudy skies.  It will be mild for January with highs in the upper 40s.

We may have a break between systems on Saturday with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the low 50s, then Showers develop again Saturday night and Sunday.  Highs on Sunday will also be in the low 50s.  It will remain unsettled for early next week with showers likely.
