ALTOONA,PA - Pyramid Healthcare, Inc., in sponsorship with Edgar Snyder & Associates and WTAJ-TV, is pleased to announce that 175 Blair County residents arranged 79 post-celebratory rides home by utilizing the "Take-a-Cab, We'll Pay the Tab" program this New Year's Eve, which represents a 16 % increase in usage over last year.
"We are encouraged by the number of people who again this year were responsible and called us to provide a ride home after having too much to drink," said Jonathon Wolf, CEO of Pyramid Healthcare, Inc. "By keeping just one unsafe driver off the road on New Year's Eve we are offering a life-saving service to the residents of Blair County and we hope to continue to offer this program for years to come."
